7-Eleven x Fortnite

There Car

Gaming, car, and meme culture came together in 7-Eleven’s first Fortnite activation "There Car". Drawing from the brand’s late-night meet-up legacy, the campaign turned Fortnite into a secret scavenger hunt, with clues dropped across Twitch, Instagram, and X leading players to hidden 7-Eleven cars across three maps.

Each car contained a clue that led players to the next step, bringing them closer to unlocking a final custom island we built featuring a virtual 7-Eleven store, racetracks, and an in-game car meet-up.

Creators like Typical Gamer, SypherPK, Chica, Nanacool8, and Munson helped pull players deeper into the experience as they competed for prizes including a permanent gamertag statue in Fortnite, a one-of-a-kind gaming chair made from an actual race car seat, 7-Eleven merch, and gas. By connecting virtual play with real-world rewards, the campaign drove store visits, conversions, and helped solidify 7-Eleven’s place in culture for the next generation.

To drive engagement, we launched a multi-channel activation, combining organic and paid social, streamer partnerships, and live Twitch events, ensuring the campaign resonated across gaming and retail audiences.
 
By merging the virtual experience with real-world rewards, we successfully turned a gaming experience into real-world store visits and conversion.
