the no permission collection
champion
Some of the most iconic streetwear brands, including Pyrex, Supreme, KITH, and Bape, originally built their looks using Champion blanks without permission. Instead of shutting them down for copyright infringement, Champion chose to support them and eventually partner with them.
To honor that rebellious spirit, we curated an exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum and created a film that speaks to the next generation of creatives with a global rallying cry: you do not need permission to make your mark.
role: art direction + design
we designed and curated an exhibit and event at the Brooklyn Museum, showcasing early custom pieces alongside designs from the next generation of creators.
an interactive art installation in the center of the exhibit featured hundreds of blank Champion hoodies daring attendees to take one (without permission) and make their mark at creator stations.

Beyond the exhibit, we launched a global film and an interactive website featuring designer spotlights, behind-the-scenes, and funding for emerging artists.
We orchestrated exclusive hoodie drops across major cities, hiding rare archived Champion collaborations while streetwear influencers teased the locations for fans to discover.
The activation not only celebrated streetwear’s past but cemented Champion as the brand for the next wave of creators, generating $30M in earned media and inspiring a new generation.
