Mud On My Shoes

Mud on My Shoes is a stop-motion short film I directed and animated. Adapted from Count D.’s book, All My Friends Are Creeps and narrated by horror legend Doug Bradley (Hellraiser), the film follows a boy navigating a surreal, dreamlike world where the familiar turns unsettling.

The film screened at festivals like Screamfest Horror Festival, FrightFest London, Brooklyn Film Festival, Salem Horror Fest, and won the award for best animation at Venice Shorts.

Through handcrafted miniatures and textured animation, I aimed to capture the eerie nostalgia of childhood memories and the way fear lingers over time.

 

In addition to directing and animating, I also sculpted the puppets and built the sets.
