gourgen is the story behind real life don draper, gourgen khoudikian.

 

the russian art director lived his entire life under the guise of an armenian and contributed nationalistic graphics, artwork, and typefaces throughout the span of his life –– the truth of his identity was revealed after his passing.

 

the book explores the process of his unfinished font, which was meant to reduce printing costs and paper use in armenia and is an introduction to a documentary that is currently in the works.
